What if I don't speak Spanish?
No matter your level of skill in Spanish, you will find people who are very patient and willing to work hard at understanding what you are
trying to communicate. English classes are required in Mexico and they appreciate speaking to you in English so they can practice. If you
decide you want to improve your conversational skills, you can take classes at the University of Quintana Roo which is just down the road
about 4 miles. Maybe you want to organize a Spanish language school at Maricasa. Granted, you are not going to be able to express yourself
as fully in Spanish as you do in English until you have really immersed yourself in the language in addition to taking classes. Besides, this is
part of why you want to move to Mexico...you need a new challenge.
